Wow! Did you know that it snowed here Monday, December 7! It
snowed about 6 inches. It started snowing at 7:00 in the morning
and right after 10:00 the electricity went out! But then we got
electricity about 3 hours later! Here are some pictures that our
mom took. That would be Dottie who is the owner of Bradford Place.
Sonora is only 1,800 feet elevation so this snow is a big deal.

Yes, when you stay at Bradford Place you can have breakfast delivered to your
room, in any of our rooms, not just in the Bradford room. It's just one of the little things that we do here to make
you feel special. Of course, the other little
things at the inn can take many shapes and forms, such as two outdoor
kitties — Josh and Kody. I am Josh and I am solid gray. Kody
is my step brother and he is mostly white with a little gray here and
there. Kody thinks he is better than me 'cause he is made up
mostly of Turkish Van cat. And for the record, we are not allowed to run around inside
the inn — actually, that's a no-no!
Well, it won't do you any good to
dream about The Mother Lode this time of year. You simply must
experience it! And you know what? You can spend some of your
holiday gift money in downtown Sonora and also in the nearby little
gold rush villages. Art galleries? Yep!
Have you been to the new candy and ice scream store called The Candy Vault. 
It is
down at the corner of Bradford and Washington which is just about as
close as you can get to the inn. This is the store!

When it gets too cold we sleep on mommy's bed with her. Well, not
me because I am big so I sleep outside in my basket bed, but Kody has to have his nite-nite blankies that
are on mommy's bed.
