Here is a picture of my brudder, Kody laughing his head off at me because he thinks I am clumsy.
The picture on the right is a close up (in case you were wondering) of me with my right arm in a cast.  Just wait until Kody breaks a bone --
We'll see who is laughing THEN!  Oh boy, they'll have to call a special session of congress to keep him from crying.

Hello everybody -- This is Joshie writing to you!

First off, I want to thank every one who cared about me when I had my broken wrist in March.  It hurt alot.  I had to have a cast on for two weeks.  What hurt even more is that Kody, my little brudder would not stop laughing at me.  Do you see him up above laughing?  I don't know how I broke my wrist but it happened.  The good news is that I am running and playing and jumping around as if nothing ever had happened!  Mommy took really good care of me and also my doctor.  His name is Dr. Bennett.  He is really nice.  He has lots of experience because he has been a vet for over 20 years in Sonora.  He knows all about animals, even horses.

Mommy (that would be Dottie) went to southern California in April for a couple of days to the international innkeeper/s convention.  It was at the Disneyland Hotel.  Wow -- the traffic down there is a nightmare, except that traffic is non-stop around the clock!  Well, mom was crowned "Queen of the Forum" , the blog on the innkeeper's web site (www.paii.org) because mom had written so many blogs -- something like 1,600 within a two year time span. She says it was fun to meet some of the innkeepers that she talks to on the internet all the time.  (It's like a blog but it is a closed blog.  You know, aspiring owners and inn owners post a question, or a comment, then they hit the send button, and lookie-out -- The replies from across the nation come a-flying in!  Of course, Mom always has an opinion cause shez been at the innkeeping stuff going on 10 years now.)

I think Kody told you last month that we passed the AAA surprise inspection with flying colors!  Yep, three diamonds -- again!  That makes eight years in a row!  But that news is old news by now.  Let's see, what else is happening around here?

Oh, I know -- Ironstone Winery has released their concert line-up for this year.  You oughta see who will be coming to the Sierra foothills -- Sheryl Crow, Chris Isaak, Boz Scaggs, Willie Nelson, Steely Dan and some other entertainers.  The inn's phone lines are starting to ring and people are booking rooms to stay here.  Ironstone is in Murphys, California which is only about 20 minutes from Sonora -- if you use the short-cut through Columbia.  You should check out this link Entertainment & links  and then give us a call at Bradford Place 1-800-209-2315 to book yourself in to one of our rooms.  We have two cozy rooms that are smaller than the two deluxe rooms here at the inn.  Something for everyone -- and breakfast from the inn's menu is included, with room delivery at no additional charge!

See you soon!
