B  radford Place is in a neighborhood of beautiful churches, restored dwellings, professional offices and government facilities.  It is adjacent to the county courthouse shown above (c. 1898).  The immediate area is a favorite for early morning walks and evening strolls.   In downtown Sonora from the intersection of Washington and Stockton streets, the inn is two blocks north on Washington and one block west on Bradford Street. 
        Sonora is 2,000 feet in elevation.  Summer days are sunny to hot.  Winter days are cold and brisk with frosty nights.
